The rules for using this site

These terms cover journey.storage and our online tools. Your storage space itself is governed by the rental agreement you sign.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of journey.storage and the online tools on it, including search, online rental, bill payment and move-out requests, provided by Journey.Storage LLC, doing business as JOURNEY.STORAGE™ (“Journey,” “we,” “us”). By using the website you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Your rental agreement comes first

When you rent a space, online or in person, you sign a rental agreement for that space. The rental agreement governs your use of the space, rent, fees, access, insurance or protection requirements, default and lien rights. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your rental agreement, the rental agreement controls.

Prices, sizes and availability

We work to keep the website accurate, but prices, promotions, availability and features can change and may differ by location. Online rates and promotions apply only where and while offered. Unit sizes are approximate and photos are for illustration. The price and terms you see at review, and in your rental agreement, are the ones that apply to your rental.

Renting online

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
  • The information you give us must be true, current and complete, and the ID you provide must be your own and valid.
  • A rental is complete only when you sign the rental agreement and your first payment is accepted. We may decline or cancel a rental, for example if a space is no longer available or information cannot be verified.

Payments and autopay

When you pay, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the amounts shown before you confirm, which may include rent, an administrative fee, taxes and a protection plan. If you turn on autopay, you authorize recurring charges on the schedule in your rental agreement until you turn it off. Late fees and other charges are set by your rental agreement and Texas law.

Smart entry and your access

Gate and unit access works through the Storage Smart Entry app, provided by a third party under its own terms. Keep your password and PIN private. Share access only through the app’s sharing features; you are responsible for anyone you give access to. Access may be suspended as described in your rental agreement, for example when an account is past due.

Using the website

Please do not:

  • Use the website for anything unlawful, or to submit false information or someone else’s information without permission.
  • Try to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or interfere with the website’s security or operation.
  • Copy, scrape or harvest content or data from the website by automated means.
